Today you created similes and metaphors that reflect your struggles, growth, and resilience. In a well-developed paragraph, reflect on the process. What did you learn about yourself while writing your figurative language?

Prompt Response: Today, when I created similes and metaphors about my struggles and growth, I learned that I’m stronger than I sometimes give myself credit for. Comparing my challenges to things like storms or mountains helped me see that even when situations feel overwhelming, they don’t last forever. Writing in figurative language made it easier to express emotions I don’t always say out loud. It showed me that my struggles have helped shape me into someone more patient and resilient. Overall, the process helped me see my growth more clearly and reminded me that I’m still becoming a stronger version of myself.

Summary: wasn’t here today

Reflection:  wasn’t here today
