The last scene forces readers to reinterpret Emily’s entire life. Write about a moment when new information changed your perception of a person or situation. How did that “plot twist” reshape your understanding, the same way Faulkner’s ending reshapes the story?

Prompt Response: A time when new information changed me is when I had a true friend but they ended being so weird and not what I thought they were. When I was friends with her she would talk about people to me and I could never think she was talking about me behind my back. The plot twist in this situation reshape my understanding because if you have a friend that talks with about other people 9/10 they are talking about you with another person. This also taught me that everyone isn't your friend.
