Prompt Response: something I have always been curious about is why did scientist stop studying the ocean. Is there something down there that we should be worried about. And how is it going to affect human kind or the earth in general. Another thing that I have been curious about Is what have they been studying in Antarctica and why haven't they told us.

Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

  Prompt Response:  A metaphor that I would use to describe my inner struggle is a Tug-of-war. I would use that because I feel like my brain and my heart are at odds right now. I never know what I want and it can get kinda frustrating at times because I don't want to come off as confusing or hard to work with because I change my mind so much. And it's like I want both of these things because they are both beneficial but I can't pick between the two.  Summary: Today in class we read two poems by Emily Dickinson and annotated it with the class.  Reflection:  Today in class I worked on my assignment that is due Friday.
