Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

 Prompt Response: A time I have stepped out my comfort zone is starting to get comfortable ordering my food in public. I get really awkward when I have to talk to people about food because I don't want to be a bother. I also tend to order slow so I also feel like I am being pressured to hurry up and order my food so I won't be holding people up. And if my food gets messed up or not how I ordered it I ask my mom to ask them to fix it because I get scared and awkward. 

Summary: Today in class we started a new argumentative paragraph based on a text. 

Reflection: Today in class I read a new short text called "Ambush".

  Prompt Response:  A time I encountered a homeless man is when me and my mom were getting wings for dinner and it was 2 homeless man and one of them asked my mom could she spare any change after she payed. My mom comes out and give him a dollar and the 2nd homeless man asked her for one but she didn't have any cash. He then starts to argue with my mom because he didn't get the dollar, so I asked my mom to give him the food I had in the car already but he didn't want it because he wanted a dollar. I was wondering why he didn't want the food because he probably hadn't ate yet. It made me feel like I wasn't doing enough because all I had was food I could give him.  Summary: Today in class we read a new short story.  Reflection:  today in class I learned the meaning of Tramp.

Which aspect of creating a poem do you enjoy the most? Tell what it is and explain why.

  Prompt Response:  The aspect of creating a poem I enjoy the most is finding out a topic that relates to me the most during that time in my life. I enjoy this part because I like the work I produce when I am excited to finally write out what I have been feeling. I don't like to tell people what's going on in my mind I just keep it to myself. When we get to write a poem I like to express myself through metaphors because it makes me feel like people know how I'm feeling but know exactly how I am feeling.  Summary: Today in class we talked about the assignment which is creating our own poem.  Reflection:  Today in class I started a rough draft before I started my poem.
