In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?

Prompt Response: A time I felt like an interloper is when I moved schools. I felt like I didn't belong because everyone already had their friends. This messed with my emotions because I don't like feeling like a bother so when I were to talk to people they wouldn't talk back or they would give short answers. Some of the outcomes from this is I learned to just be alone and be around people who really want me around and to not care that people don't want me around.

Summary: today in class we did a common lit.

Reflection: today in class I read a new story I didn't know about.
