Everyone has burning questions about life. Mysteries we wonder about but don’t always have clear answers for. Think about your biggest questions about existence, purpose, or the world around you. Write a blog post where you share at least two of your most burning questions about life and explain why these questions matter to you.

 Prompt Response: One of my most burning questions about life is why did scientists stop exploring the ocean. What did they see while they were exploring and what are they not telling us about the ocean. Another one of my most burning questions is what happens after life. Where do we go, What do we see, can we see past loved ones. These questions matter to me because things might happen dealing with the ocean and we won't  know until later. And in the past I wanted to know how it's going to go.

Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

  Prompt Response:  A metaphor that I would use to describe my inner struggle is a Tug-of-war. I would use that because I feel like my brain and my heart are at odds right now. I never know what I want and it can get kinda frustrating at times because I don't want to come off as confusing or hard to work with because I change my mind so much. And it's like I want both of these things because they are both beneficial but I can't pick between the two.  Summary: Today in class we read two poems by Emily Dickinson and annotated it with the class.  Reflection:  Today in class I worked on my assignment that is due Friday.
