Describe a real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship you experienced.

 Prompt Response: A real-life situation in which jealousy negatively affected a relationship is when my old best friend stops being my friend because I had other friends. This friend told me if I am going to have other friends that we couldn't be friends anymore. I thought this was kinda weird because she had other friends and she hasn't talked to me in months. This affected our relationship because we are not close as we used to be and I really cared for her. We talk from time to time but it will never be the same like it used to be. 

Summary: Today in class we got into groups and read a story called "The Jealous Father"

Reflection: Today I learned the moral lesson of the story we read which is jealousy can hurt you in the long run.

Dickinson uses the metaphor of a funeral to describe her inner struggles. What metaphor would you use to describe your own mind?

  Prompt Response:  A metaphor that I would use to describe my inner struggle is a Tug-of-war. I would use that because I feel like my brain and my heart are at odds right now. I never know what I want and it can get kinda frustrating at times because I don't want to come off as confusing or hard to work with because I change my mind so much. And it's like I want both of these things because they are both beneficial but I can't pick between the two.  Summary: Today in class we read two poems by Emily Dickinson and annotated it with the class.  Reflection:  Today in class I worked on my assignment that is due Friday.
