Based on the first 40 minutes of the film and Chapters 1–11 of the book, does the visual version of Chris’s journey make his choices seem more justified or more reckless than the text does? Explain how the medium (film vs writing) shapes your perspective.

Prompt Response: In the film it makes Chris actions seem more reckless because we didn't get a lot of explaining like we did in the book. In the book it explains why Chris did what he did. While in the film It kinda felt like he just up and left from college for no reason.

Summary: Today in class we watched a film version of into the wild.

Reflection: today in class i got to see a how Chris left in order instead of broken up into pieces.
